The International Coach Federation (ICF) is a globally recognized coaching federation that aims to offer independent credentialing programs for coach practitioners. Coaches that have received their credentials through the ICF have passed very demanding education requirements and have demonstrated a thorough understanding of the coaching competencies that set the standard in the profession.
The ICF describes coaching as, “a thought-provoking and creative partnership that inspires clients to maximize their personal and professional potential, often unlocking previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity, and leadership.”
