What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a service may store in your browser. Local storage is a separate technology that can retain preferences. Their use depends on the features a website actually implements. Last updated: October 22, 2026.

What this application uses

We save your analytics choice in local storage under ma-analytics-consent-v1. If you accept, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and measure sessions, with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days that may renew with use. Analytics only runs on miguelalfaro.com, not the temporary Vercel domain. Language switching uses the /es and /en paths.

Hosting and external services

Hosting may process technical data needed to serve and protect pages. This differs from installing advertising tools. An external destination, such as a social network, may use its own cookies when you follow a link. Opening an email also depends on your configured email application.

Optional chat

The chat widget loads when you visit the site. GoHighLevel/LeadConnector may use cookies or browser storage to maintain the conversation and recognize return visits. Chat loading is independent of your Google Analytics choice. You can close chat and clear its data in browser settings. The contact form loads on the contact page and uses GoHighLevel to process submissions.

Your controls

You can accept or reject analytics in the notice and change your choice through Cookie preferences. Rejecting does not prevent you from using the site. Withdrawing permission disables measurement and removes Analytics cookies accessible from this domain. You can also clear data in your browser. Clearing local data removes your saved choice and the notice will appear again.
